Our services include managing the maintenance of your aircraft with a dedicated Director of Maintenance, pilot staffing and training, fuel savings, management of operating costs, insurance, storage, and much more. By possessing an FAA-charter certificate, we can also offer the option of generating revenue with your aircraft when not in-use and, potentially, reduce your liability of operating an aircraft for your business.

Our Odyssey

Beginning as a corporate flight department in 2006, we have grown into a fully certified Part 135 charter operation and aircraft management company. Odyssey Airways was founded on the principles to share the benefit and joy of private air travel by offering increased productivity in business, decreased frustration in travel, and building of relationships of all types.

Odyssey Airways became one of the only charter operators in the Tampa Bay area with the authority to operate to/from Cuba.

Paused normal operations to provide relief to the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian by flying over 12,000 lbs. of supplies and numerous evacuees.

Ryan Gucwa

Ever since he could remember, Ryan was always fascinated by airplanes like many kids his age were. As he grew up, that passion only intensified as his parents would reward his good grades in elementary school with trips to visit the airport and watch airplanes take-off and land. Ryan graduated with a bachelor's degree in Aviation Management and Flight Operations from Jacksonville University and received all of his flight training from Delta Airlines subsidiary (Delta Connection Academy). To combine with his craving for adventure, Ryan began his professional pilot career as a flight instructor in South America. Once he returned to the U.S., Ryan was hired by a growing company in Tampa, Florida to be their corporate pilot and, eventually, form a formal flight department for the company. Ryan grew that corporate flight department into a business which became, what is known today as, Odyssey Airways.
